Miss Jenna Hagan

Yr. 3-4 Room 5
jennah@ponatahi.school.nz

When Jenna decided to become a teacher, her New Entrant teacher told her she always thought that would be the career Jenna would end up doing. (Teachers know!) She began studying to be teacher in 2010 after many years working various jobs, being a missionary overseas, running large church youth events and having already completed Biblical Studies and Creative Arts at a tertiary level.

Having completed a four-year teaching degree, she began teaching in 2014 in Dunedin. In 2015 she moved to Carterton to teach Year 4-5 at Ponatahi Christian School. After several years teaching these year levels, circumstances led to her teaching year levels from New Entrants through to Year 10.

She currently teaches years 3 and 4 in a room she had the privilege to design to fit with her teaching style.

She enjoys learning about natural health and volunteers at the Masterton Health Clinic each month; studying God’s Word and preaching at church; creating artworks; planting and harvesting from her garden; attending church; playing with the neighbour’s dogs; and learning new things.
