Even when there are no current vacancies in your specialist subject area, we warmly welcome expressions of interest from prospective teachers who share the Special Character of Ponatahi Christian School.

We seek teachers who are passionate about building Christ’s Kingdom through education.

Student Teacher Opportunities

We also welcome student teachers who share our Special Character. Over the years, we have successfully hosted student teachers from both New Zealand and overseas. Many overseas teaching programmes include the option for an international practicum during the final year of training.

A letter of reference from a pastor or church elder is required to apply.
