Statement of Faith

 

1.  We believe in one eternal God, who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

2.  We believe that God, for His glory, created a perfect universe in six literal days.

3.  We believe that God created us humans in His image, as male and female in a
perfect relationship with Him, and gave us the promise of eternal life if we continued to obey Him 
in love.

4.  We believe that mankind broke this original relationship by sin: therefore we, and all 
creation, live under the penalty of separation from God, and will remain that way forever unless 
redeemed by an Almighty Saviour.

5.   We believe that God Himself has provided such a Saviour in His Son Jesus Christ, and promises 
full forgiveness and deliverance from punishment, and the right to eternal life to all who confess 
their sin and trust in the Lord Jesus alone as their Saviour.

6.  We believe that God applies this salvation in the heart of His people
by the work of the Holy Spirit.

7.   We believe that God reveals this to us in the Bible, which is His complete
message of hope to us.

8.  We believe that God’s will for us all is to “Love Him above all, and
our neighbour as ourselves.”

9.   We believe that God is building His Kingdom by uniting believers in the Lord Jesus Christ into 
one global church consisting of many local gatherings.

We expect all involved in our school community to respect and uphold our Special Character as
